AOPA Pilot magazine noted an interesting website this month. Check out the
Aircraft Partnership Association at www.theapa.com

If you join you can find others within a defined area who are interested in
partnerships, etc.  Since we have had little movement

with our proposed flying club there might be some prospects among these
folks. Worth a look.
