I'm pleased to report that we've been able to schedule Linda Cioffi, a
CFI from Rensselaer, NY, to speak at tonight's meeting about flying to Cuba.

Items planned for tonight's meeting:

Here's the "Question Of The Month" from Radek:

  You are on an IFR flight plan and get instruction from ATC to proceed
  to a holding fix, you get holding instructions, and you are asked to
  report when "established in the hold." What would you consider as
  "being established"? Is it crossing the fix? Is it coming back to your
  holding fix from your entry procedure? Is it when you are well
  established after you figured out all the wind corrections
  necessary...  Or something else?

Remember last month's scenario (overheating engine at Mackinac)?  This
scenario was based on a real incident.  The original author posted his
story on the Pilot Workshop discussion board, and I've turned it into a
web page for anyone interested.  It's quite a bit different from the one
we heard.
