Bob,

Please accept my sincere thanks and appreciation for your involvement with
attempting to set-up an Eagle East Flying Club.

I would appreciate it if you would continue to send me e-mail messages with
your progress. With my son's interest in flying, I am particularly
interested in finding a way to reduce the costs of flying. I am currently
pursuing the possibility of purchasing a plane with a partner but the
associated costs are still considerable.

It will be very interesting to see what your final cost structure turns out
to be:

Initiation Fee?
Buy-in Cost?
Per Hour Cost?
Monthly Costs?

For me personally, the selection of a club plane is definitely a factor.
Quite honestly, I have some degree of reservation with N61976 or N13081. A
mechanically sound plane is a must but appearance is also a factor when
considering that it adds some degree of comfort to passengers that are not
accustomed to flying in smaller planes. Bottom line, I fully understand that
you are required to balance cost and plane selection to make joining a
flying club an attractive option.

Thank you again for pursuing the option of establishing a flying club.

Over the last several weeks a small group of us have had meetings and
spirited email discussion about forming a flying club. We have made some
progress and we have investigated a number of options including the possible
purchase of a 172 from Eagle East. No decisions have been made yet. Our goal
is to determine all of the startup costs/operating costs and come up with a
plan so that everyone can understand the commitment. At this point we still
have much work to do and I do not have concrete numbers to share with you.
But I do want all to know that we remain eager to try to get a flying club
off the ground (pun intended). If you would like to participate in the
discussions, let me know by reply to this email. Thanks and thanks to Tim
and Sean for their help and support.

Bob Irving
