Todd - for 35K aircraft is "as is". Meaning nothing would be done. Run out
engine with missing log books. Bad transponder, questionable radios,
probably not IFR certified. Etc.

I have to balk at the $50k number.  Are they expecting us to negotiate and
beat down the price of it?  Because that's notably high.  I thought they
wanted to be part of the flying club.

 

That air frame can't possibly be worth $35k.  With an all new interior,
navs, comms AND a Garmin 430, sure, 35k is close.  But as it is with
"working" navs, comms and transponder (which means used replacements), no
way.

 

I guess what I'm saying here is they need to give us an exact spec sheet of
what would be done to it for $35k.

Hey Bob,

I met with Sean and Bill this am. We came up with a 35K price without an 
engine 50K with engine,and of course  working navs and comms and working 
transponder.(IFR certified)
